Is PYLR a VIP alternative?
Yes, for independent and mid-size wine distributors and importers. PYLR bundles CRM, ordering, real-time inventory, delivery routing, purchasing, compliance, accounting, analytics, and supplier depletion sharing into one platform instead of a family of separately licensed products.
Can we move from VIP to PYLR?
Yes. Onboarding imports customers, products, order history, and inventory from your current system, and most teams are running day-to-day inside a few weeks with dedicated onboarding. You keep working in the old system until the cutover.
How does PYLR pricing compare to VIP?
VIP does not publish pricing and licenses its products separately. PYLR's core subscription is flat with unlimited users, so growing headcount never changes the cost. Full accounting is an optional module priced separately, below standalone accounting software; QuickBooks sync is free either way. We keep it deliberately affordable for independent distributors; pricing is a conversation, not a public rate card.
Does PYLR replace our accounting software?
It can. Invoicing, receivables, payables, bank reconciliation, billbacks, and financial reports run in the same system as your orders and inventory as an optional accounting module, priced separately and below standalone accounting software. If you would rather keep QuickBooks, PYLR syncs invoices, customers, and purchase orders to it for free either way.
